Finishing with a grade point average of 3.73, the Cowley College women’s cross country squad made the list of All-Academic Teams for the 2025 NJCAA Women’s Cross Country season as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
Running on snow and ice, the Cowley College women’s cross country team had three runners named All-Americans while finishing in a tie for third place out of 44 teams at the NJCAA Division II National Cross Country Championships held Saturday in Fort Dodge, IA.
This past weekend the men's and women's Tiger cross-country teams traveled to Colby, KS to compete in the Region VI / KJCCC Championship.
Cowley College sophomore Esteban Boisseau continued his tremendous cross country season by placing seventh out of 144 runners at the Fort Hays State University Tiger Open on Saturday. The Tiger men placed eighth out of 14 teams with 229 points, and the Lady Tigers did not figure in the team scoring
Competing at the 36th annual Missouri Southern Stampede on Saturday at the Tom Rutledge Cross Country Course in Joplin, MO, the top-five ranked Cowley College men’s and women’s cross country teams had some good performances.
The nationally ranked Cowley College men’s and women’s cross country teams opened their season at a muddy Wichita State University JK Gold Classic on Saturday in Wichita, KS.
With only two returning runners on the roster, the Cowley College women’s cross country team will attempt to progress as the season goes along.
